Are there any legitimate ways to make money online?

Besides sites like treasuretrooper and cashcrate, i’ve tried those and the amount of money you make is insignificant. I’ve thought about having a website and having ads on it but how much will i make doing that? Also another way i thought of making money is by dropshipping stuff on ebay or buying wholesale…any sites of that nature?
